What can I take bookings for with Votel, and can I customize the booking widget?

Votel has built-in calendars and booking that work like Calendly, so you do not need another booking tool. Booking widgets are called bookables, because so many things are bookable: meetings, appointments, classes, groups, rentals, rental spaces and rooms. Appointments can be one to one or group appointments, and bookings can be free or paid.

A storefront brings several calendars together on one booking page. For example, a hair salon with ten stylists can put all the stylists in one storefront, so customers choose to book with a specific stylist or by a specific service.

When you add a bookable you choose what it is for and then its style. The booking widget comes in several styles, including side by side booking, a minimal booking, a question and answer style where the person picks a time first and then answers questions, and an Acuity style that first asks whether the person wants morning, afternoon or evening and narrows the times. You can customize the layout, theme and colors, including custom colors, so the widget matches your brand.

Each bookable has an intake form for the questions you want answered, a duration, availability, location (video, in person, or with recorded audio and video), reminders and notifications. A bookable can sync with a third-party calendar (Google, Microsoft or Cal.com) or work standalone with no syncing.

You can share a bookable as a link, embed it on any website with its embed code, or add a calendar element in the Votel website builder. An AI agent on the phone, text or social media can also book appointments on it.

Calendars also hold the built-in meeting rooms, and the social media calendar.
